The Bridge on the River Kwai is the first David Lean film I ever watched. Because it’s adaptation for the Pierre Boulle book and him being the author of the original Planet of the Apes books. And I personally adore that The Bridge on the River Kwai. Is a war movie more about psychological warfare instead of just being about the big battles.
